EHS Report and Committee
UFC considers that environmental protection, occupational health and safety at work (EHS) are as equally important as to provide good-quality products to our customers. Each UFC manufacturing site has its own EHS department dedicated to regulatory compliance and risk management. Open communication between staff and top management is facilitated to implement effective measures.
UFC adopts the methodology "Plan-Do-Check-Act" (PDCA) to approach EHS management, and to reach the following objectives:
- Reduce adverse effects that result from normal operating conditions.
- Prevent incidents or accidents that might result in abnormal conditions.
- Monitor our implementation to identify and prevent occupational disease hazards.
- Reduce environmental impact under normal operating conditions.
